Developer

LMN Solutions is seeking a developer to fulfill the following requirements:

Work with several agile project teams within the project, delivering software components and services that will be used by this project and other projects across the customer community, help define and implement web interface standards and practices, and provide consulting to other projects.
Developers in this position play a critical role in delivering the realization of this vision. The project consists of a team of highly skilled and motivated application developers creating reusable software services and components for the project and other customer projects. These developers are innovative and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies that should be considered and leveraged for best satisfying the long term vision. The developers fully embrace agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, in their development practices. This position will be focused on designing and developing Graphical Interfaces with an emphasis on usability and creating accessible web applications. Ruby on Rails, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and Flash coding may be required to implement navigation data display, i.e. limited number of clicks to access data. An understanding of Model View Controller (MVC) framework is helpful. The position will require coordination with the other program resources to establish interface standards. PMF and agile processes will be followed to support project documentation, brief stakeholders on technical aspects, and Quality Assurance measures/test scenario.

Required Skills:

HTML, XML, Flash, JavaScript experience

Familiar with or willingness to work within a Ruby on Rails, MVC framework environment
Ability to create accessible websites with emphasis on usability. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to be a quick learner who can work independently. Ability to adjust to changing priorities. Ability to work in a team environment.
